Motivating with Creature Features

Just in the nick of time, Chissy Ricker’s Creature Features, was released as the new semester began, and I JUMPED on that studio license.  I knew I had  a nice group of Ricker stans who would adore this….and the theme was just perfect because I host an annual Halloween performance party for grades 1-6, and these pieces fit the bill.

Because this group of students often need the most motivation,  I created round stickers using Avery’s 8293 and a sticker sheet that really follows the theme.  When students complete a piece from the book, they can add a sticker to their page.  Often they are going the opposite way and deciding which piece to learn based on the sticker, but I’m not complaining.

Follow the link below to download the sticker background theater as well as two sets of stickers depending on whether you want the “busy” or minimalist look.  I hope this free resource helps you in your studio!
